Hi, my name is Jill Piper and I’m the human behind Furry Kids Pet Photography.
Furry Kids is the realization of a lifelong dream. For 30 years, I have professionally photographed families, children, weddings, high school seniors,
and sometimes pets.
I enjoy photographing people, but my heart has always been with the animals. I still have my ‘human’ business (Lasting Image Photography), but Furry Kids gives me the opportunity to focus (pun intended) a whole business on nothing but pets and the people who love them. Everything about this new business comes from things that mean a lot to me. Starting with the name, Furry Kids, which is what my husband and I call our dogs. You’ll see photos of my furry kids below.
I am a longtime rescue volunteer and my husband and I have fostered 19 dogs over the past several years. (Yes, we’ve kept a few). I have the patience, knowledge and ability to work with your pet, no matter its temperament or energy level, to create beautiful portraits, either in the studio or outdoors.
One of my goals with this business is to use my photography skills to try to help
long-term shelter residents throughout the state (the dogs and cats that have been languishing in shelters for months and months with no adoption interest) gain more exposure, which will hopefully lead to them finding their forever families. Click here for more info.
If you are visiting this website, you probably have furry kids of your own.
Or you just really like looking at pictures of dogs and cats. Either way, welcome and enjoy!
